Due to the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, an expatriate Pakistani has got back possession of his plot worth Rs 10 million. Vice Chairperson OPC, Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti informed in this regard that Asrar Ahmad, settled in Harrow, United Kingdom, filed a complaint that some persons have captured his 1 Kanal plot situated in village Samdani, Tehsil Sadiqabad, District Rahim Yar Khan and have restrained him to build boundary of plot.
This complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Rahim Yar Khan and with the help of members of DOPC and local police; the Overseas Pakistani got back possession of his land. Shaheen Khalid Butt and Afzaal Bhatti further said that due to the intervention of the OPC, thousands of complaints of expatriate Pakistanis have been settled.
