PPP's Khursheed Shah says a PML-N 'personality' had forced Javed Hashmi to ditch his party
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has claimed that there is a personality within Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) that had forced Javed Hashmi to quit the party in the past. The opposition leader said this while talking to media persons in his chamber at the Parliament House on Monday.
"Today, that personality has been sidelined in the party," he said adding that Hashami was the senior most leaders after Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif in the party. About Hashmi's rejoining the PML-N, the opposition leader said, "It is not lost that comes at last." "I had asked Hashmi not to leave the party when he was leaving the PML-N," he added. The opposition leader said that Hashmi would take time to make a place in the party again.
Answering a question, Shah said, "Nawaz Sharif has been disqualified and now we should believe in the court about the cases of Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen. "The court will dispense justice in these cases."
