Creative art work of Pakistan's internationally renowned artist Jimmy Engineer titled "Lines That Talk" is continuing at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts under the patronage of HRH Princess Wejdan El Hashmi in Amman. The solo art show displaying 77 original pencil drawings and prints of selected 24 prints is being visited by a good number of artists, art lovers and people from all walks of life daily.
Pakistan Embassy in Jordan hosted a reception for Jimmy Engineer's solo exhibition recently. Former Prime Minister of Jordan Abdullah Ensour inaugurated the event as the chief guest. Charge d'affaires Saadia Viqarunnissa represented Pakistan at the colourful event which was also participated by former parliamentarian Reem Badran, former Jordan Senators, parliamentarians, prominent writers, journalists and academicians. Artists, members of diplomatic community as well as Pakistani community members were also present in large numbers, according to a message received here from Amman.
According to information, the simplicity of the material used in creation of the art work amply depicts the spirit which he has embraced throughout his life. Solo art exhibition of Jimmy Engineer which got underway after its inauguration on October 29 was originally scheduled to continue till November 26 but has been extended till December 7.
