President Pak Sarzameen Party Anees Qaimkhani has said that two-day party membership in Hyderabad would be started from December 7, 2017. Addressing a press conference, here on Thursday, he informed that PSP had received gigantic response in Karachi where party membership has so far reached to 1,20,000 and during membership process in Hyderabad around 25 to 50 thousand people are expected to become the party members.
He informed that over 20 membership camps would be set up in Hyderabad City, Latifabad and Qasimabad and he himself as well as PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal would visit these camps and monitor the membership process. The PSP had submitted an application to the district administration for holding public meeting at Baagh-e-Mustafa Ground Latifabad on December 8, 2017, he said and added that if the PSP received permission, the PSP would hold a historic public meeting on that day.
He said that the party had received warm welcome in all the provinces of the country and a large number of people from KPK, Balochistan and interior Sindh have joined the party. Besides, the PSP has also received a positive response in Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, he said and added that it is because of PSP manifesto of serving the masses irrespective of any caste and creed.
Responding to a question, he said that MQM Pakistan Chief Farooq Sattar should avoid any pressure and implement the agreement which he made with PSP. The doors of PSP remained opened for him, he added. He said that the suppression of Urdu speaking people should be avoided in Karachi and Hyderabad and those who are doing politics in the name of Muhajir should resolve their grievances instead of giving them the gifts of garbage dumps and shabby roads etc.
He maintained that those who are joining the PSP have no pressure and they did their association with the party according to their own will. He informed that today 57 members of MQM Pakistan, 17 members of MQM London, nine members of PPP, four of ANP and 16 of other political parties have announced joining of PSP.
On the occasion, ex-Joint Zonal Incharge MQM Zafar Gaddi, Vice Chairman UC-1 Khalid Hussain, members Zonal Committee MQM (P) Raheel, Idrees, Fayyaz and Anees Zai of MQM (L) announced joining of PSP. Among others, the President PSP Hyderabad Nadeem Qazi, General Secretary Rizwan Gaddi, Faheem Arain, were also present on the occasion.
