Accord to end sit-in: PPP submits adjournment motion in NA Secretariat
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has submitted an adjournment motion in the National Assembly Secretariat regarding the agreement made by the government to end sit-in at Faizabad Interchange, Islamabad. The adjournment motion was submitted by PPP MNAs Dr Nafisa Shah, Syed Naveed Qamar, Dr Shazia Sobia Soomro, Ejaz Jakrani, Shagufta Jamani and others in the Secretariat on Thursday. According to adjournment motion, the process of the government to end sit-in in Islamabad created serious reservations for internal security and rule of law in the country which is dangerous for the state.
The government's disqualification is clear as the court had to order it to end the sit-in but the government failed and bowed down before the protesters and made a deal through the army to end the sit-in. By the agreement, the government left all those people who have broken the law, created anarchy in the country, demolished and destroyed the properties and caused human losses. The government has set a shameful example through this agreement, which will threaten the integrity of this country."
