PTCL Smart TV is Pakistan's pioneer IPTV service, offering viewers high quality television with a range of exciting features and currently offers 100+ live TV channels and over 5000 hours of entertainment content (Movies, dramas, sports & Children's programs) through its Video-on-Demand service available in 150 cities. Remarkable progress has been made with its Smart TV Mobile App for both Android and Apple iOS with over 150,000 users.
Realizing the importance of quality content, PTCL collaborated with iflix, the world's leading Subscription Video-on-Demand (SVoD) service whereby all customers can stream international and Pakistani content at their convenience. Digital entertainment is key priority and partnership with Netflix, the world's leading Internet television network, is another step in this direction. It will provide digital content to fans in Pakistan. Being fully aware of the growing popularity of eSports and as such the first of its kind Pakistan Gaming Lounge (PGL) comprises of dedicated multiplayer game servers focusing on hardcore gaming.

Taking a step further towards digitalizing the future, the company has introduced the country's first truly flexible & agile enterprise grade cloud solution- PTCL Smart Cloud, which aims to help businesses transform & grow. Year on year, the company has proved its commitment to technical excellence, innovation and client satisfaction in Pakistan and this is yet another initiative that demonstrates its futuristic vision.
PTCL is in progress of deploying 789 kilometers of fibre for Zong which will enable delivery of quality telecommunication services for the Pakistan market. PTCL has also signed a fibre leasing agreement with Telenor deploying 950+kms of fibre footprint, which will benefit upgrading its cellular backhaul to cater for exponential data growth after the arrival of 3G/4G regime in the country.
Continuously innovating to create more value for its customers, the company introduced SmartLink App and PTCL Touch App. SmartLink App can be used for making and receiving landline calls. PTCL Touch App can provide customers with the ability to pay their bills, lodge complaints, check their usage status and to upgrade their packages.
CSR: Giving back to the Communities
PTCL is fully aware of its corporate social responsibility and is actively contributing in the social uplifting of Pakistani society. 'PTCL Razakar' is a voluntary program comprising over 400 employees, known as Razakars, who participate in philanthropic activities on behalf of the company. The Box of Happiness is an initiative that received a very encouraging response as exciting events were arranged in different orphanages across Pakistan.
A massive nationwide Blood Donation Drive was also conducted in 2017, which covered 70 locations bringing together 9,726 generous donors with 100 camps set up across the country extending from Khyber to Mehran, encouraging employees, their families and community partners to come together for this noble cause. The CSR activities also included Breast Cancer Awareness drive in collaboration with Pink Ribbon and under the banner of The Pink Club of PTCL, which has been created for the sole purpose of improving health and well-being of all the women working at the company.
PTCL has been endeavoring to bring the best young talent in the company through various induction programs, in pursuit of the objective of cultural transformation. Some of the key HR programs are National Internship Program, Experia Summer Internship Program, ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales) Program, ICAP (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan) Training Program & PTCL Summit program that aims at building sustainable leadership by inducting top talent from best engineering and business institutes across Pakistan and from abroad.
