Business as usual at Faisalabad markets

Business activities in Grain, fruit and vegetables markets have been resumed as per routine on Tuesday, however, all educational institutions and universities remained closed in industrial city. No untoward incident has been reported so far, and police have released 13 workers including local leader Abdul Waheed Qadri form various police Stations. Twenty-two workers including five PPP workers have been detained in Central Jail Faisalabad under Section 3 MPO for one month, who were involved in attack on house of Law Minister Punjab Rana Sana Ullah in Samanabad. Other workers related to various religious parties including Sunni Tehreek, who were arrested during clash with the police outside the minister's house.
After released from police custody, Divisional Incharge of Tehrik-e-Labback YRA, Abdul Waheed Qadri expressed concerned over the torture on political party workers and demanded that SSP Operation should be terminated from the service, who was involved in torture activities. He made it clear that all arrested 22 workers have no connection with the Tehrik-e-Labback, who were arrested in attack on law minister's house.
