Pesco's drive against defaulters

Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (Pesco) has started drive for the recovery of billions of rupees against public and private sector defaulters. The power distribution company has a huge outstanding amount of Rs 113 billions to public and private consumers. The public sector departments owe Rs 18651.36 million while Rs 94375.11 million is out standing against private consumers.
The company has directed all defaulter government departments and private defaulter consumers to pay their outstanding arrears immediately, failing which their power supply would be disconnected without any further notice. In case of non-payment disconnection of power supply to defaulter departments and Private consumers will be made. The power company has warned all defaulter government departments and private defaulter customers to immediately deposit their outstanding dues.
