Sindh Home Minister, Sohail Anwar Siyal has said that most of the crimes are committed with the help of motorcycles; therefore, the government is considering installing tracking system for motorcycles. Speaking to office-bearers of Site Association of Industry (SAI), he said that the government of Sindh is striving to maintain law & order in the province particularly in Karachi.
He stressed the need to help the police to fight against crime and corruption. He was of the view that crime ratio has decreased to a large extent in the city. He assured office-bearers of SITE Association of industry that all their demands will be fulfilled after due process. President SAI, Muhammad Jawed Bilwani, gave a detailed briefing about the overall security and law & order situation in site industrial area.
He stressed the need for establishment of Police Helpline '15' Cell at the Office of the association. He also demanded access to CCTV cameras for CPLC and SSP West Karachi for immediate arrest of the criminals. Bilwani demanded increase in the number of police staff at SITE police stations "A" & "B" as well as the posting of young and active police personnel at both the SITE police stations. He asked the Sindh home minister for provision of more police mobile vans and motorcycles for SITE police stations. Citing the example of KPK police stations, Bilwani further asked the home minister to set up Model police stations in SITE industrial estate.
