'Billions of rupees being spent on quality healthcare facilities'
The Punjab governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana has said that resources worth billions of rupees are being spent for providing qualitative and latest healthcare facilities to the people. He said this while talking to the vice-chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) Professor Khalid Masood Gondal, who called on him in Governor's House.
Professor Gondal apprised the governor about future vision and mission statement of the FJMU and said with team spirit and collective efforts of the faculty, FJMU will be turned into a world class medical university. "We are striving for excellence in medical education and service delivery," he said, adding: "The key performance indicators (KPIs) of international universities and standards set by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, including quality assurance, teaching and training standard, research, financial management and international liaison will be implemented with the collective efforts of the faculty of FJMU."
