Accountab-ility Court Monday adjourned hearing of two corruption references against Sharif family till Tuesday (today) after former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif failed to appear before the court due to prevailing law and order situation caused by Tehreek Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYR) sit-in. As soon as the Accountability Court began hearing the Azizia Steel Mills and Hill Metals Establishment corruption references filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB), former prime minister's son-in-law Captain Muhammad Safdar (retd) informed the court that Nawaz Sharif had to come from Lahore but he could not and he was also unable to contact him.
The court was also informed that Sharif's legal team, headed by Khawaja Harris, did not reach the court due to current law and order situation. The NAB prosecutor also apprised the court that the prosecution witness had to come from Lahore but he could not come due to the law and order situation. To this the court adjourned the hearing till November 28.
