Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has once again contacted Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for supporting constitutional amendment bill on delimitation of constituencies and reallocation of National Assembly seats on the basis of provisional census results.
The opposition leader in his statement on Monday said that the government's ally Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai telephoned him and requested for the support of the bill in the Senate. "I made it clear that PPP does not believe in any unconstitutional and undemocratic action. I told Achakzai that this issue will be resolved after settlement of the situation created by sit-ins in the country," he added.
