PML-N's MPA resigns to protest crackdown

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz's (PML-N) provincial lawmaker Sahibzada Ghulam Nizamuddin Sialwi has tendered resignation in the wake of crackdown against protestors staging sit-in at Faizabad interchange. MPA from Sargodha, Sialwi also urged all his followers to relinquish PMLN's membership and urged his followers to relinquish from all government's offices. Meanwhile, another PMLN's National Assembly lawmaker Sheikh Waqas Akram has asked government to release arrested workers with immediate effect. He has also threatened to relinquish the NA's seat whereas asked State minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Anusha Rehman to resign.
