Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Friday said the PML-N government has put the country on the road to development by wriggling it out of the quagmire of crises. While talking to parliamentarians belonging to various districts who called on him here on Friday, he said the development journey of the country has not stopped despite the negative politics of sit-ins and lock-down. Instead of making hollow claims of bringing change, revolutionary steps have been taken for public welfare, he said.
On the other side, he said claimants of making a new Pakistan through hollow slogans have spread disappointments among the people and tried to impede the journey of development. He said the PML-N has always done the politics of norms and the agenda of public service has always been its priority. "Our every step is moving towards rapid development and the government has fulfilled its promises made with the people. It is satisfying that quality of life has improved due to revolutionary steps as the provision of better facilities to the masses is the first priority of the government," he said.
Those who called on the Chief Minister included Senator Muhammad Zafar Ullah Khan, MNAs Muhammad Afzal Khan, Nasir Iqbal Bosal, Sajid Mehdi, Minister of State Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha, Provincial Minister Hameeda Waheeduddin, MPAs Muhammad Aoun Abbas and Khurram Ijaz Chatha.
