Al-Khawarzmi Institute of Computer Science, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore and Xplorer 3D have inked an agreement to establish a reverse engineering and additive manufacturing facility to be set up at UET Lahore. This joint collaboration will bring more projects of mutual interest together in near future. MOU signing ceremony was held at Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid's office where the high officials of both sides including Prof. Dr. Waqar Mahmood, Director Al-Khawarzmi Institute UET Lahore attended it. The ceremony was chaired by the Vice Chancellor.
The '3D Printing and Prototyping Facility' will be established by the joint collaboration of KICS UET and Xplorer 3D. This facility will empower the startups and industry prototyping. Besides, it will also pave way towards affordable prosthetic manufacturing. Prof. Dr. Waqar Mahmood delivered an introductory note on the content of the MOU and KICS apart from Xplorer. Director KICS UET and the high official from Xplorer signed the agreement.-PR
