The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PPDWP) approved seven development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 13.9 billion, here on Friday including establishment of Institute of Urology and Transplantation, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of Rs 4071.919 million. These schemes were approved in PDWP's 31st meeting of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over by Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
The approved development schemes included:
Third Party Evaluation of Literacy Interventions (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 26.795 million, Introduction of Mobile Health Units Tehsil Level (Outsource) (Revised) at the cost of Rs 835.889 million, Establishment of Institute of Urology and Transplantation, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of Rs 4071.919 million, Establishment of Medical Stores for Supply Chain of Medicines in Punjab at the cost of Rs 1138.260 million, Dualization of Sialkot-Eminabad Road up to Dharam Kot length - 37.20 km (Phase-I km No 0/0 to 7/20, length - 7.20 km) District Sialkot (Revised) at the cost of Rs 1121.174 million, Dualization of Chiniot Faisalabad Road (Phase-I) length - 10km, District Chiniot at the cost of Rs 3215.570 million and Establishment of Hepatitis Clinic and G-I departments in all tertiary case hospitals in Punjab at the cost of Rs 3526.620 million.
