Trials to select three hockey teams to represent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the forthcoming National Under-16 Hockey Championship to be organized under the aegis of Pakistan Hockey Federation at Mir Pur Khas. Former Inspector General of Police Muhammad Saeed Khan, who is also Vice President Pakistan Hockey Federation and Chairman KP Hockey Association along with selection committee thoroughly, monitored the performance.
The selection committee headed by Secretary KP Hockey Association Syed Zahir Shah with other members comprising Malik Wadan (Swat), Haq Nawaz (Haripur), Hidayat Ullah Khan (Peshawar), Yasir Islam and Syed Zia Ur Rehman Binori and Amir Hamza short-listed 60 players. The teams will leave on Friday for Mir Pur Khas.
