Apropos a news item titled "RBOD project abandoned due to non-availability of funds," Wapda spokesperson has clarified that RBOD project has not been abandoned. The spokesperson has made it clear that the project for installation of treatment plants along RBOD has been abandoned due to bunch of reasons that had also been reported in the news item. RBOD is a different project, which is jointly under-implementation of Wapda and government of Sindh. Therefore, it is not correct that RBOD project has been abandoned, the spokesperson concluded.
