JUI-F Chief, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has said the foundation of the religion of Islam is laid on the welfare of the humanity and it is not specific to any particular region, tribe, nationality and era. He expressed these views while briefing the High Commissioners and ambassadors of the European Union regarding the centennial congregation of the party in Islamabad on Monday.
The ambassadors and High Commissioners which attended the briefing were included Germany, Bulgaria, Portugal, Finland, Romania, and Austria. The JUI-F chief said they want positive relations with the world community, saying that Muslims should take benefits of the Western knowledge and technology while the West should need to utilize research and technology of the Muslims.
He said that all segments of society including JUI-F have always condemned terrorism, saying whoever differ with the US policies is put by her in the list of terrorists. The foundation of the JUI-F he said is laid on the philosophy of non-violence and them themselves also following the same policy and in the centennial congregation they want to pass on this philosophy to the coming generation.
