The Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab has helped an expatriate Pakistani based in USA in retrieving back his house worth Rs 120 million from the illegal occupation of his close relative after 14 years. Vice Chairperson OPC Shaheen Khalid Butt informed in this regard that Imtiaz Ahmed Syed of Jersy City, USA lodged a complaint that his close relative has grabbed his 2 kanal house situated in Canal Bank, Johar Town, Lahore. His relative had requested for a temporary accommodation for 3 months but refused to vacate the property later on.
Shaheen Khalid Butt informed that this complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Lahore which after continuous and concerted efforts got the house vacated and handed it over to its owner.
