On Tuesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,008. The total traded value was recorded at PKR 6.97 billion and the number of lots traded was 16,398. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 3.56 billion, followed by gold PKR 2.51 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 606.11 million, silver PKR 211.31 million, copper PKR 85.10 million and Brent crude oil PKR 3.33 million.
