Ufone enhances 3G services in Karachi

CEO Ufone, Rainer Rathgeber has announced completion of the enhanced 3G services deployment in the city with a millions of dollars of investment to double the capacity of cellular network and grow the coverage range. Talking to the media at a local hotel on Monday night on completion of the enhanced Ufone 3G services in the metropolis, he said that the cellular company has spent millions of dollars to provide improved network facilities to the customers.
"Ufone today has completed deployment of enhanced 3G services in Karachi. We have invested millions of dollars in our network, which covers two things: Doubling the capacity and significant improvement in coverage," he said. He said the huge investment will help the Ufone to expand its coverage and increase internet throughput (speed) in Karachi significantly. "We are aware of the fact that customers demand internet with reliable connection and reasonable speed that is why we have reformed our existing network to reflect clear voice and fast internet with wider network coverage," he said.
This 3G capacity expansion is ultimately aimed at uplifting the new and existing customers' experience, he said, adding that the Ufone new investment will delight mobile internet users through the enhancement experience.
"We have already completely enhanced the network in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Abbottabad, Sialkot and Quetta where our valued subscribers are already enjoying clear voice and fastest 3G internet experience," the CEO Ufone said. The Ufone aims at raising the user experience of its customers by consistently innovating services and pursuing technological advancements. "We are committed to our customers and will keep on investing in our network and systems to provide seamless connectivity through the country," he added.
Ufone is about caring for the customers and that's why new equipment has been installed in Karachi after thorough testing, he pointed out, saying that "now you can make video calls through Ufone connection from anywhere in the city and can also stream videos without facing any difficulties. This better experience is available all across Karachi".
He said that the Ufone believes that the fast internet and clear voice will automatically attract new customers to its network. "We do customer research regularly and in the last month the Customer Satisfaction Index has indicated that Ufone has greatly improved," he said.
The Ufone is happy if the customer satisfaction is increasing; Rainer Rathgeber said and showed commitment to Pakistan with providing best services. He said that undoubtedly, Karachi being the largest and financial hub of Pakistan is a key market for Ufone. "The recent expansion here is a testament to our commitment for the city," he said. In order to ensure flawless and uninterrupted service to this important city, he said that the Ufone has tested new service in other cities first and after successful trials decided to launch it in Karachi now.
