A high-level delegation from Turkish Health Ministry called on Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Sunday. The delegation was led by Turkish Health Ministry Managing Director for International Health Policies Selami Kilic. The Turkish delegation congratulated the Chief Minister on Pakistan Day and expressed their feelings that they are the co-partners of Pakistani people in their every joy and said that they celebrated Pakistan day as health week and they got real happiness by serving Pakistani brothers and sisters.
They said that Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Muzaffargarh is a gift for people of South Punjab and quality medical facilities are being provided in this hospital. The Turkish delegation said Pakistan is our second home and for improvement in the health sector our team is collaborating with the Punjab government.
While talking to the Turkish delegation, the CM said that Pakistan and Turkey have strong brotherhood relations and hearts of people from both the countries beat in unison. The CM said that on 23rd March 1940 under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muslims from the sub-continent initiated a great struggle for a separate state and certainly this is a historical day. The CM said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan is fast moving towards progress and prosperity. All the citizens of Pakistan enjoy equal rights.
The CM also appreciated the co-operation and assistance from Turkish Health Ministry experts and doctors for improving the healthcare system in the province. The CM said that Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Muzaffargarh is being extended to 500 bed hospital and this hospital is a sign of Pak-Turk eternal relationship. The CM said that it is our mission to improve the health care system to the extent that it must come up to the expectations of the people and we are very much thankful to our brother country Turkey for their co-operation in improving the healthcare system.
Expert doctor from Turkish Health Ministry Dr Hasan Cagil and other renowned doctors were also included in the delegation. Provincial Ministers Khawaja Salman Rafique, Ayesha Ghous Pasha, Adviser Dr Umer Saif, Chief Secretary, medical experts and other concerning authorities were also present on the occasion.
