The Management of Afzaal Memorial Thalassemia Foundation (AMTF) will set up a 'Blood Donation Camp' at Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Saturday (today). In addition to it, a medical team from Dr Essa Laboratory will also be available to provide free sugar and bone mineral density tests along with free dental check-ups.
President KCCI Shamim Ahmed Firpo has requested all the members to come forward and support AMTF's team by donating blood for this noble cause in order to mitigate the sufferings of the patients and their distressed families. He also advised members to benefit from free sugar and bone mineral density tests facility as well.
Firpo appreciated various initiatives undertaken by AMTF and Dr Essa Laboratory to provide high-quality healthcare services to patients. He assured them of full support and cooperation so that they could be able to further strengthen their positions in the health sector. "AMTF is operating to deliver the utmost level of passionate care and create mass awareness about childhood blood diseases whereas Dr Essa Laboratory works to continually provide services for the community with care and work hard to maintain standards of laboratory science," he said.
