NAB Karachi, KU organise seminar

Under the directives and vision of Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhry on zero tolerance against corruption and creating awareness amongst masses and youth in particular, a Seminar on the topic of "Role of Youth in Fight against Corruption" was organised by NAB Karachi in collaboration with University of Karachi at Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science on 24th March 2017.
Director Investigation Zafar Iqbal Khan was the Chief Guest for the Seminar. Zafar Iqbal Khan presented his thought provoking speech on the role of youth to fight the menace of corruption from society. Chairman of the faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical sciences warmly welcomed the participants of the Seminar.
Zafar Iqbal Khan Director Investigation NAB Karachi highlighted the working of National Accountability Bureau and its role in eradicating corruption. Moreover he emphasised the role of youth and need to change social mindset and attitude to fight against corruption. Zafar Iqbal Khan vehemently stressed upon the students to raise revolt against corruption and its evils, both in and outside their rank because they are the real torchbearers of the country. He advised the young students to help in eradicating corruption through acquisition of best possible education and spreading awareness through social media and word of mouth in the society.
After the address, Ms. Rabia Abdul Rehman, Assistant Director NAB took the oath from the participations to stay committed with the country and avoid indulging in corruption. The Dean of the faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science Dr Iqbal Azhar in his remarks advised the students to spread the message of the gathering to their families and educational institutes. In the end, Dr Iqbal Azhar expressed his profound thanks to NAB Karachi and participants of the seminar and hoped that such very useful events would be held in future.
