Dawood University holds fourth convocation

Some 229 graduates were conferred degrees in engineering and Architecture disciplines at the 4th convocation of Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) held at university's Jinnah Campus on Monday. Fazeela Niazi, an Energy and Environment student received 2 gold and 1 silver medals for not only securing university's top position but being the toper student of faculty of Energy.
Maria Sajid Zaheer was awarded with gold medal for securing top position in faculty of Architecture. Silver medals were awarded to the students for securing first position in their respective departments. Maria Sajid Zaheer (Architecture and Planning), Danyal Khan (Chemical Engineering), Maham Mobin (Computer System Engineering), Faryal Anwar (Electronic Engineering), Fazeela Niazi (Energy and Environment), Muhammad Asim Aslam (Industrial Engineering), Muhammad Ahsan Rauf (Metallurgy and Materials Engineering), Muhammad Anas Siddique (Petroleum and Gas Engineering) and Ramsha Khalid (Telecommunication Engineering). Speaking at the event, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Faizullah Abbasi lauded the efforts of the team of DUET in bringing desired changes in the University.
