National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) N-5 South Zone has initiated motorcyclists' training program at road safety training institute (RSTI) of Motorway Police here. Nasir Mehmood Sati, DIG NH&MP N-5 South Zone in a statement said group wise batches are being trained by motorway police instructors under this initiative. He said training is an integral part of NH&MP and in order to discipline the commuters, training sessions and road safety seminars are organized on regular basis.
Thousands of motorcycles are being sold and registered on regular basis. However, there is no proper forum to train the motorcyclists before they join roads. DIG NH&MP said that not only practical but also theoretical training through multimedia presentations are being imparted to the motorcyclist. They are being taught to skill fully ride the motorcycles through inclined / declined tracks, roundabouts, highways, city roads and other tactical tasks.
