Military officials claimed significant decrease in terror attacks in Pakistan since Pak-Afghan border closure on Feb 16. Military sources told Business Recorder on Saturday that Afghanistan is being used by various terrorist outfits to destabilize Pakistan.
Accusing Afghanistan of not being serious in tackling the issue of terrorism, the sources in this regard pointed out the Afghan government's failure in taking action against Fazlullah in Kunnar. "It is a temporary closure and the border will open as soon as the two governments manage to overcome the challenges of terrorism, the sources added. Meanwhile, an ISPR official told this correspondent that "security cannot be compromised for trade".
