Panamagate verdict not in sight?

The cause list of the apex court for next week commencing 20 March does not include an announcement of a verdict on the Panama papers prompting senior lawyers to maintain that the much awaited verdict is not likely next week. Talking to Business Recorder, former President Supreme Court Bar Association Kamran Murtaza pointed out that a common practice in the apex court is to announce a verdict on a reserved judgement in the supplementary cause list which is updated on a daily basis.
Thus a verdict can come any day next week if the supplementary cause list of a day before indicates it, added Murtaza. Responding to a query Murtaza said if any member of the bench on the Panama papers case is busy in the registry branch of the apex court, as is the case with three of the judges who are scheduled to be in Lahore next week, even then one member of the bench may announce the verdict at the principal seat of the apex court.
