British HC, chief minister discuss cooperation in various fields
British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, here Thursday and discussed prospectus of enhancing cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz said that partnership between Pakistan and Britain will be enhanced with passage of time for the development and prosperity of both the counties.
Issues of mutual interest, advancement of Pak-Britain relations and collaboration in various fields were discussed in the meeting.
British High Commissioner, while congratulating Chief Minister Punjab for holding PSL final successfully, said that credit of organizing final match in a peaceful environment in Lahore goes to Shahbaz Sharif. Also the public has shown disciplined attitude and enthusiasm during the match.
He said the praiseworthy endeavours of Punjab chief Minister to raise the expectations for everyday comforts of the general population of Punjab is yielding great outcomes as they have found a way to enhance wellbeing, education, expertise advancement and social sector additionally we will proceed with support in these segments with government.
Shahbaz on the occasion said that successful holding of PSL final match in Lahore is victory of Pakistan and annihilation of the foes of peace which has likewise raised Pakistani's enthusiastic spirit.
