Vice Chancellor of the University of Karachi Professor Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan lauded the efforts of the French government for its academic collaborations with the Pakistani universities and development of highly qualified faculty to strengthen Pakistan's higher education institutions. "Pakistan enjoys friendly ties with France," he told the members of a delegation of senior French professors and administrators from various French universities arranged by the Higher Education Commission.
All the deans of faculties were also present. Dr Ajmal Khan said that the Commission was playing vital role in promotion of higher education in the country. French delegation discussed possible future collaborations between French universities and Karachi University. The delegation will visit Pakistani universities. Their visit is aimed at creating awareness about French higher education system and academic collaborations of French and Pakistani varsities. HEC will organise "French Day" in Pakistan on 16th March 2017.
