Professor Rukhsana W. Zuberi, former Associate Dean (Education) of Aga Khan University, has been conferred with Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding and remarkable contributions to the field of medical education and for developing health professions education in the country and the region. The award was presented to her by the Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah at the conference dinner of the 6th Annual Association for Excellence in Medical Education Conference on Saturday.
"It is a matter of great pride for the Aga Khan University that the efforts of one of our faculty members has been acknowledged and honoured at the national level with this prestigious award," according to the Association of Excellence in Medical Education (AEME), which was established in 2011. The association provides a platform for promoting and for further enhancing the quality of medical and health professions education in the country.
