Pakistan Railway has announced to change the fare of 23 trains from March 15. According to a senior official of Pakistan Railway, Lahore to Rawalpindi Green Line train fare has been reduced from Rs 1510 to Rs 1200. While five to ten percent fares of the eleven trains have been increased including Awam Express, Khyber Mail, Allama Iqbal Express. The proposal to increase the fare of "Pakistan Express" has been postponed till April 25 next. The fare of Khyber Mails, Awam Express and Jafar Express trains have been made equal to Rail Car.
