Pakistan on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a hospital in Kabul and reaffirmed its commitment to cooperate with Afghan government and international community to eliminate the scourge of terrorism. In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria extended the government of Pakistan's heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the heinous terrorist attack and conveyed prayers for early recovery of the injured.
"Pakistan reiterates its unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. In this regard, we reaffirm our commitment to cooperation with the Afghan government and the international community for the elimination of the scourge of terrorism," he added. More than 30 people were killed and dozens others got injured after attackers dressed as doctors stormed into a military hospital in Kabul, responsibility for which was reportedly claimed by Daesh (Islamic State).
