The Embassy of France has inaugurated the "Campus France Information Center" at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar. This was stated by French Ambassador Martine Dorrance during her visit to the university. She met the Vice Chancellor, UET Peshawar Professor Dr Noor Muhammad, faculty and students, according to press statement issued by university here on Monday.
She said the Campus France Information Center at UET Peshawar will serve as a hub to help promote development of cooperation between French and Pakistani scientific organisations, engaged in R&D programmes in scientific and technology fields.
This forum will have a Pakistan France Alumni Network, PFAN to start French language course and jointly conduct French language courses and cultural activities at UET Peshawar. The programme is intended for young Pakistani graduates particularly, women, and offers them an excellent opportunity to do research in France.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Noor Muhammad on the occasion thanked the French Ambassador and her team for opening the Campus France Center at UET Peshawar.
