Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) on Saturday thwarted major terror bid as huge cache of arm and ammunition recovered during search operation in Kahan area. During a search operation at Chot Camp Kahan, FC Balochistan recovered heavy arms and ammunition which included weapons of various calibres and also 4900 small machine gun rounds, 453 x 12.7 mm gun Rds, 140 AGL Rds, and 24 hand grenades, stated an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.
Likewise, another terror bid was foiled in Dera Murad Jamali's Sherani area where 18 landmines, two thousand kg nitrogen fertilizer used in making explosives and ten detonators from compounds of terrorists were confiscated. However, no arrest was reported.
