Czech Republic international playmaker Borek Dockal is moving from Sparta Prague to the Chinese Super League side Henan Jianye, the Czech club said on Saturday. The 28-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year deal which Czech media said was worth up to 8.5 million euros ($9 million). Dockal, who has also played for Konyaspor in Turkey and Rosenborg in Norway, has scored six goals in 29 games for the Czech national team.
His move follows that of Christian Bassogog, who joined the same Chinese club from Aalborg of Denmark after being named as the best player at the recent Africa Cup of Nations, a trophy he won with Cameroon.
