Police is putting all possible efforts to deal with complex set of challenges on account of current internal security situation, said Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Captain (Retd) Muhammad Amin. He was speaking here at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Office on Saturday. Health, wealth and safety of general public is our responsibility and we are united to deal with terrorist threats, he said.
"We are planning to appoint district coordinator per 100 people to enhance security condition whereas it is social responsibility of the people to have awareness of their neighbours," he added. The CCPO said the people can contact Emergency Response Centers on 15 while citizens will also be able to lodge complaints via text message to 8330 in case of matters regarding security. He assured that police would be available to act and assist them with in few minutes of complaint. He also tested the reliability of service in presence of the FPCCI office bearers.
The FPCCI regional chairman Manzoor ul Haq Malik said that due to frontline partner on war against terrorism, Pakistan has become a security driven state as a result of militancy and the war in the region. Awful law and order situation has destroyed the whole economic structure, he said.
