Former Member of National Assembly (MNA) from Ghotki Sardar Khalid Ahmed Khan Lund on Saturday called on former President of Pakistan and co-chairman Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari and announced joining PPP. The meeting took place at Bilawal House in Karachi.
Sardar Khalid Lund said that from Karachi to Kashmir, it was only Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who can bring our country at par with the mission of the founder of the nation Quaid-i-Azam and founders of democracy Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to make Pakistan as a model Muslim-majority egalitarian society.
Khald Ahmed Khan is the fourth politician to have joined the PPP in as many days. Former Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) MNA Sardar Nabil Gabol, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Nadir Akmal Laghari and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Irfanullah Marwat have joined the PPP in the last three days.
