A fund of Rs 6 billion has been allocated for drainage projects in the city and PCC pipes would be laid down in 13 constituencies of the city under the project, said sources. Sources said the initiative has been taken on special direction from the Chief Minister Punjab and the Planning and Development department has approved the budget for the same.
