On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,137. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 2.93 billion and the number of lots traded was 6,963. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 975.44 million, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 904.82 million, WTI crude oil PKR 683.74 million, silver PKR 334.89 million, copper PKR 33.52 million and Brent crude oil PKR 2.23 million.
