PPDWP approves three development schemes

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PPDWP) approved three development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 1291.228 million. These schemes were approved in the 55th meeting of PPDWP of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the Planning & Development Board, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included: widening/improvement of road from Vanike Tarrar to Chak Bhatti Turn via Behak Ahmed Yar, Thatha Bahma & Narowal i/c Link L=27.40 km, district Hafizabad at the cost of Rs 640.568 million, Chief Minister e-Rozgar training program at the cost of Rs 560.66 million and Scooty for working women pilot project CM's initiatives at the cost of Rs 90.000 million.
