A high-level meeting under Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday decided to shift eight Anti-Terrorism Courts (ATC) from Clifton to Central Jail in Karachi with immediate effect. According to the spokesman of Chief Minister House, the meeting was informed that shifting of jail inmates to the anti-terrorism courts in Clifton is risky in the prevailing circumstances. It may be recalled that two such courts are already functioning in Central Jail Karachi.
