Sindh police on Sunday chalked out a contingency plan to provide fool-proof security to the census enumerators in the province during the first phase of National Census 2017. According to an official of Sindh police, 10, 800 personnel of Sindh police will be deployed for the provision of security to the enumerators.
He said that the first phase of Census will begin from March 15 in three divisions Karachi, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas and it will culminate on April 15.
The official said that similar strategy has also been adopted during the second phase for Larkana, Sukkur and Shaheed Benazirabad divisions.
