The Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League N (PML-N), Sindh chapter, Shah Mohammad Shah on Sunday said that there are nurseries of terrorists everywhere in the country including Sindh. After the incident of Sehwan, IG Sindh should be given the authority to appoint police officers rather appointing political assistants. He was addressing a press conference at Hyderabad Press Club.
"The nurseries of terrorists are to be found everywhere in the country, the terrorist network involved in terror attacks in Pakistan is operating from Afghanistan, in the past the establishment failed to resolve issues with Afghanistan, because of that both countries are not at good terms with each other, while it is unfortunate that due to dictatorship our country has still not come to right track", he added.
Shah said that Pakistan by engaging in dialogue with Afghanistan and India wants to bring end to terrorism. This is not the right time to do political point scoring, but it is unfortunate to say that even the body parts of martyrs in Sehwan incident were thrown in drain.
He further said that SSP and ASP Jamshoro were removed after Sehwan incident; now Sindh government must give powers to IG Sindh to appoint police officers throughout the province, so that Sindh police might be freed from political appointments.
He further said that due to this tragic incident PML-N postponed conference and convention at Karachi and Hyderabad; in the same way the PM's schedule to distribute health cards and announcing public hospitals at Thatta has been delayed.
