Interior Ministry has decided to set up a separate force to ensure security of the judges and also constituted a three-member committee to finalise its recommendations in 15 days in this regard.
According to a statement of the Ministry, the committee would be headed by Director National Police Bureau Syed Kaleem Imam, while Inspector General Police Islamabad Tariq Masood Yasin and Director General National Counter-Terrorism Authority NACTA have been nominated as its members.
The committee would also consult Commandant FC and finalise its recommendations regarding formation of the separate force and the budgets required for the purpose and would submit to secretary interior.
