Two killed in JUI-F leader's guest house blast

Two people were killed in a bomb blast at the guest house of a Union Council Naib Nazim in the neighborhood of Totalai in Buner on Saturday. According to the local police station muharer Mian Hussain Shah, the incident occurred in Kas Kuruno area of Totalai when a bomb exploded at the guest house of Union Council Naib Nazim Arshad Wali of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F). As a result of the explosion, the roof of all the four rooms of the guest house collapsed destroying the compound.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, around 24 people were injured on Saturday when a gas cylinder exploded during a funeral that was taking place at a house located in Dera Ismail Khan. The injured mostly include women and children, the district police officer told the media. The house is located within the jurisdiction of Cantt police station. The people were gathered at the house for a funeral, when the house collapsed due to the blast, he added.
The district administration rushed to the area and took the injured to the district head quarter hospital. According to the hospital management, 10 out of the 24 injured are in critical condition. In DI Khan, at least three terrorists were killed in a clash between security forces and terrorists in the wee hours of Saturday near Golachi road DI Khan.
