The Met Office Thursday forecast partly cloudy weather for the most parts of the upcountry in the next 24 hours. It said that rain with snow over the hills was expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara and Mardan Divisions, besides FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, and at isolated places in Quetta, Kalat and Kohat Divisions. Cold and dry conditions are likely to remain in the rest of the country.
"A westerly wave is likely to approach upper parts of the country on Friday," the Met said, adding that weather remained cold and dry in the most parts of the country.
In the next 48 hours rain and thunderstorm with snow over the hills is expected at a number of places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, while at scattered places in Quetta, Zhob and Kalat Divisions, and at isolated places in Sargodha and Rawalpindi Divisions and Islamabad.
