PCB cancels round table moot of cricketers

Owing to the recent development in Pakistan cricket, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management has decided to cancel the round table conference of cricketers planned by the board in Lahore in March 2017 aimed at improvement of cricket in the country. Instead, the Chairman PCB will conduct working group sessions with former cricketers in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad to seek their views and suggestions on the cricket structure in the country, a PCB spokesman, said on Wednesday.
Chairman PCB Shaharyar M. Khan has also confirmed that he would meet former cricketers to seek their input for improvement in cricket. He would discuss matters pertaining would be improving team performance; domestic structure; improvement of pitches; coaching of national and junior teams and encouraging of foreign teams to tour Pakistan. Earlier, Chairman PCB announced to hold a round table conference of current and former test players in Lahore on March 6 and 7, 2017 in order to seek their views on the improvement of Pakistan national and junior team's performance.
