Senior Vice President of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Turab Ali Khoja while expressing grave concern over supply of contaminated water has urged the officials concerned to ensure provision of clean and safe water. He said that the citizens of Hyderabad City, Latifabad and Qasimabad were experiencing acute shortage of water since last many days while in many areas, various diseases are spreading due to use of contaminated water.
He said that after closure of drainage system from the employees of Water and Sanitation Agency, the situation in all three sub-divisions will further be aggravated due to overflow of sewerage lines. He urged the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Local Government Minister Jam Khan Shoro to take notice over such situation and resolve the issues of WASA employees.
